Since I’ve managed to make a few non-disastrous gluten free things I’ve become a little bit more adventurous. I’ve also figured out how to make my pictures a little bit nicer (check out Picnik, an online photo editing tool, its amazing!)
I made Irish Soda Bread, with the recipe found at AllRecipes.com. It was almost like eating real bread! The texture was not horribly dry or crumbly. The crust did kind of fall apart but it was the closest thing I’ve had to bread in a long time. So in my book its a winner!

I was so excited to eat it I forgot to take a picture before I cut it…
Today, for our families dessert I made some Chewy Brownies. I found the recipe at Gluten Free Gobsmacked, a new favorite blog of mine! She has a ton of recipes I can’t wait to try. These brownies were so good. I’m interested to see how moist they stay after today as that seems to be a problem with many gluten free goodies. Both my parents enjoyed them even my dad who very rarely eats gluten free foods.
